Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and received a nomination for the Barrymore Award. She went on to reprise her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly played the role in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Then, she attended Princeton University and was a part of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2008. In Religion. She also appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has been in Off-Broadway productions, such as End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she appeared in television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has been in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 performance of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly's most well-known role was in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), in which she portrays Ali the teenage daughter. She also starred in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
