Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last term of junior high. Her siblings include an older brother named Gregory and a younger one known as Evan. The modeling profession was her first experience within the business. The model was employed from age nine to sixteen. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the same training as Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Her first acting role came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out to Los Angeles. Within the following couple of months, she was offered the part of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge of almost every stunt and proved herself to be an accomplished actor. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to get a regular part on Friends.
